Cast and Crew
Donja R. Love (Creator/Director/Christian) is a Philadelphia born and raised playwright and filmmaker. His stageplays include: The Dead Nigga Poem (The Nigga Files), After The Dead Die, and How To Kill A Child and A Demon. His selected film work includes: Modern Day Black Gay (webseries). He’s the co-founder and creator of Ademide Theatre Ensemble, which strives to strengthen the African-American theatre experience through provocative works that highlight the quality of Black theater; and The Each-Other Project, which strives to build community, through art and activism, for Queer men of diversity. He resides in Brooklyn, NY and teaches playwriting.

Angel Brice (Resumé) is extremely proud to be joining the cast of I Hate New York. This marks her film debut. Selected works include: Romeo and Juliet, An Uncivil Tale (Rebel Theater), Hurt Village (PTAI), Doubt(Walking Fish Theatre). Upcoming projects: West Coast premier of Booty Candy (Intiman Theatre). Dax Richardson (Orlando)
Brandon Nick (Creator/Director of Photography/Executive Producer) is a photographer, teacher and video-journalist. He worked as an Asst. Assignment Editor at WBAL-11 in Baltimore while working on an independednt TV series in Washington, D.C. His photography has been featured in newspapers and both print and online magazines. Education: Bachelor's for Broadcast Journalism at Morgan State University in Baltimore Maryland. He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY freelancing in film and television.
Kemar Jewel (Assistant Director) is an award-winning director and choreographer - and native of Jamaica, He became a YouTube sensation in 2014 when his premiere project 'Voguing Train' hit the internet and went viral. Now, he leads an international dance group, Vogue 4 Lyfe, and flies back and forth to Paris to work with international recording artist, Bob Sinclar. Education: Temple University, BA in Theater, with a concentration in Directing. He wants to keep creating art, go for his master's degree, and help mentor the next generation of queer men of color.
