Derek Sturdivant | Director of Photgraphy| Once A Star
A recent graduate with honors from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, Derek Sturdivant is a multidisciplinary artist focused on using cinematography as means to captivate and alter the viewers perspective. After traveling internationally to explore collaboration between different cultures, it became quite clear where his spark lies. Inspired by the rhythm in music, dance, and literature he implements this energy into camera motivation and nonverbal expression. With each work he produces, no matter the medium, the constant lies in fluidity and ability to capture the perfect fleck over, and over again.
